Ida May Girton

Ida May Girton, 88 of Winchester passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Pineknoll Rehabilitation Centre.  She was born on June 29, 1935, to the late Roll and Dakota (Henry) Grimes.

In her later years, she enjoyed coloring and watching game shows. She loved her dogs and spoke of them often. Ida May never lost her sassiness and her love for all things "fancy".

Survivors include her grandson Chad (Jessie) Newman of North Carolina, and a brother John Grimes of Union City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Steven Girton, Fred Girton, and 12 siblings.

Graveside services will take place on Saturday April 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm in Saratoga Cemetery.
