Henry Mote Jr, 94, passed away surrounded by family Thursday May 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1924 in Union City, Indiana son of the late Henry & Bertha Turner Mote Sr.
Henry owned and operated Mote Construction for 65 Years, belonged to Masonic Lodge #444 and Union City Elks Lodge #1534.
Survivors include children, Hank (Marian) Mote of U.C., Ohio, Ronald K. (Cheryl) Mote of Hamilton, OH, Suzanne Mote of Colorado Springs, CO, Allan (Elaine) Mote of Cape Coral, FL, Barbara Mote of Shelbyville, IN, Teresa Peterson of Zionsville, IN; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Linda) Mote of U.C., IN; nieces and nephews also.
Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Garnet Humphries, Ruby Bailey, Taleen Todd, Omar Mote, Samuel Mote and Guy Mote.
A Celebration of Life will be held 5-7 PM Friday July 12, 2019 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com.
