Harry Gail Wymer

  Harry Gail Wymer, 82, of Union City, IN and Lorida, FL passed away Thursday June 23, 2011 at his Union City residence.  He was born October 14, 1928 to the late Jack and Thelma Wyrick Wymer in Winchester, IN.

  Harry was a graduate of McKinley school in 1946.  He was a member of the Turpen Lodge #401 where he was a past master, Order of the Eastern Star #444, Shrine, Scottish Rite, Junior Order, Randolph Co. Antique Tractor Club, attended Harrisville Congregational Church, and was a Veteran serving the U.S. Air Force.  After retiring from Anchor Hocking in 1984 he enjoyed restoring antique tractors, his winter home in Florida and interacting with his grandchildren.

  Survivors include a son; Terry (Darlene) Wymer, daughters; Connie (Jerry) Loyd and Patty (Enze) Younker.  Sisters; Mary Ruth Wigger and Carolyn (Ronny) Stiver, sister-in-law Barbara Coleman.  Six granddaughters; Angela (Chad) Andecover, Karri (Jeff Hopkins) Wymer, Leslie (Dustin) Isenbarger, Dusty (Chad) Reed, Robin (Shane) Anderson and Renee (Milton) Livers.  Seventeen Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and caregiver E. Jane Young also survive.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lawana “Prudy” Wymer, brothers; Junior, John “Billy,” Max, Richard and Ralph Wymer, Sisters; Lily Lou Wymer and Sally Laisure, one brother-in-law Leon Fisher.

  Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday June 29, 2011 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. with Rev. Coleman Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, IN where Military Burial Rights will be conducted by the Randolph County Color Guard.  Friends and family may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday June 28, 2011 also at the Funeral Home.  A Masonic Lodge of Sorrow service will be held at 8 PM Tuesday evening.
