Frances Neargarder

Frances Neargarder 89 of Union City, IN passed away on October 6, 2026 at Everheart Hospice in Greenville. She was born on November 24, 1936 to the late Joe and Agnes Bettini.

Frances was a member of Pleasant Hill Church. She enjoyed riding around with her husband site seeing. She also had a love for children and worked in child protection as a patient advocate.

Survivors include her husband Lawrence Neargarder of Union City, IN, children Kelly Gage, Ty (Chelsea) Neargarder, grandchildren Jessica (Eric) Noggle, Tiffany Gage, Huxley, several nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joe Bettini.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday October 8, 2026 at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390.

A funeral service to celebrate Frances’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
