Flo I. Ellis, 99, passed away Sunday May 8, 2016 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 23, 1916 in Yorktown, IN to the late Albert and Jenny (Bradenburg) Reno. She worked at Mengel’s in Union City, and also belonged to Eagles Auxiliary #2790 of Union City.
Survivors include; children, Bonnie Kay (Wayne) Scheiding of Greenville, OH, and Karen Sue Edger of Union City; grandchildren, Sherri (John) Kiser, Michael D. Ponchot, Jodi Lynn (Chris Durham) Edger; great grandchildren, TJ Stocker, Kash Edger, Ashley Nicole Francis, Morgan Taylor Kiser; great great grandchildren, Syncere Stocker and Ty Nichols; siblings, nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Henry Ford Ellis; siblings, Betty Minton, Katherine Reno, Dee Rose, June Hale, and Marion “Bud†Minton.
Visitation is 11 a.m. – 12 noon Wednesday May 11, 2016 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, IN. Funeral Services are 12 noon Wednesday also at the funeral home with the Rev. Sonny Pettie officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
