Emory Raymond (Ray) Osborne Jr., 83, passed away Friday May 8, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ray was born October 16, 1936 to Emory & Sarah Cox Osborne Sr. in Hemphill, W.V. Ray served in the U.S. Army and later the National Guard in Niagra Falls, Seattle, and Chicago before finishing in Welch, W.V. He retired from Lobdell Emery in 1996  before becoming a Security Guard at the Brethren's Home in Greenville, Ohio, enjoyed old cars, listening to Mel Street Albums, playing pool, and helping his friends work on their old cars.
Ray is survived by his wife, Renee (Rameau) Osborne-Greenville, OH; 2 sons, Raymond (Holly) Osborne-Winchester, IN, Mel Osborne-Indpls., IN; 2 daughters, Connie Torres-Chicago, IL, Jennifer (Kris) Hinson-Aynor, SC; 2 stepsons, Josh Lewis, Steven (Gabby) Jones; 2 stepdaughters, Jessica Lewis, Crystal (Justin Dunevant) Lewis; 2 brothers, Charles (Nellie) Osborne, Edward Osborne; 2 sisters, Lettie Mitchem, Jean Streetman; Ray's greatest pride was his grandchildren, Joe Ray Sutton, Samantha Pena, Joseph Torres, Trenton Osborne, Dakota Osborne, Brooklyn Osborne, Troy Link, Justin Osborne, Matthew Norczyk, John Raulerson, Eden Lewis, Gavin Bothast, Cora Copeland, Eliza Lewis, and Klhoie Lewis; several great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Ray was preceded by his parents; 3 brothers, Ronald Osborne, James Osborne, and Franklin Osborne; a great granddaughter, Desiree Cosmen.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday May 13, 2020 in the Weimer Cemetery Saratoga, IN. Military burial rites will be conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
