Emerson Hayes Jenkinson, precious infant son of Cash and Kylee (Dugger) Jenkinson, September 23, 2026. Emerson was the beloved little brother of Easton Lane, who will always carry the special title of big brother.
Though Emerson’s time with his family was far too brief, he was deeply loved long before he was born and will remain a treasured part of his family forever.
He was surrounded by the love of his grandparents, Raymond and Diana Jenkinson, Jami Keen and Chris Bunch, Erika Vazquez Salazar & J Refugio Gonzalez; his Great-Grandparents, Jim Keen and Lora Lee, Rick and Lori Comer, Rodney and Star Jenkinson, Craig and Pam Idle, and Darlene Hunt; and his Great-Great-Grandmother, Eileen Keen.
Emerson also leaves behind his loving aunts and uncles, Natalie Seiber and Wade Botkin, Heather Berg, Tyler and Makyla Jenkinson, Khelsea Sue Jenkinson, Allen Gonzalez, Jess Gonzalez, and Alejandro Gonzalez, along with many more cousins and extended family who were anxiously awaiting his arrival and already loved him more than he could ever know.
While his family’s hearts ache that they could not keep him here, they find comfort in believing that Emerson was not alone when he arrived in Heaven. His aunt, Holly Crabtree and Great Grandmother Maria Esther was probably the first to meet him, ready to hold and love him until his family can hold him again. He was also welcomed by his great-grandfather, Sonny Hunt, Great Uncle Alberto Vazquez, and his Great-Great-Grandfather, Sam Keen.
Emerson was perfect in every tiny detail, with ten perfect little fingers like his mommy, little toes just like his daddy’s, and a sweet face that looked so much like his big brother, Easton.
Emerson will forever be Cash and Kylee’s son, Easton’s little brother, and treasured member of his family. His life may have been measured in moments, but the love for Emerson Hayes cannot be measured at all.
He will be loved, remembered, and spoken of always.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family, with Emerson laid to rest at Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, Indiana.
