Doris V. Fields

Doris V. Fields passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Doris was born on October 8, 1930, to George Merle Ebeling and Anna Marie Donahue Ebeling.

Doris married Lloyd Fields. Together they raised a family of ten children; Judy (Kenneth) Bush, Belton, TX, Marcia Fields, Winchester, IN, Don (Dee Dee) Fields, Ridgeville, IN, Beverly (Steve) Edwards, Winchester, IN, Brenda (Craig) Bland, Ridgeville, IN, Jeff (Bev) Fields, Winchester, IN, Rita (Mike) Elliott, Cameron, TX, Brian Fields, Belton, TX, Lisa (Doug) Baldwin, Winchester, IN, and Steve Fields, Aiken, SC.

Doris was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was also a homemaker, working at Champ Products for several years, and the Union City help center. She enjoyed sewing and traveling and was a member of St Mary’s Church in Union City and the Rosary Society of St. Mary's.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd, siblings, John Ebeling, Noreen Bickel, Kathleen Poling, Joseph Ebeling, Alberta Reier, Betty Rush, James Ebeling, granddaughter Lynn Baldwin, and son-in-law Kenneth Bush.  

 She is survived by her ten children, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and brother George (Barb) Ebeling.  

A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday May 12, 2023, at 10:30 am at St Mary’s Church 425 W. Hickory St. Union City, IN. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
