Danny Ray Monroe

Danny Ray Monroe, 59, passed away Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Pine Knoll in Winchester. He was born, January 31, 1966, in Winchester, IN, son of the late William Monroe and Shirley Winningham.

Dan worked at Ludy’s Greenhouse and Alphabet as a laborer. He enjoyed his family, tinkering, fishing, music, and traveling to Kentucky and Tennessee. Also loved cruising in Ole’ Blue with his dog Billy-Bob.

Left to cherish his memory are wife of 13 years, Connie Wynn Monroe, son Dillon Beaty, stepson Richard Waters, step grandson Sam Waters, nephew Joey O’Brien, niece Brittany Merchant, sister Billie Winningham, other nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded by his parents, brothers Jerry, Ronnie, Robert “Bob” Monroe, sister Julie “Sis” O’Brien, and a nephew Cory Toschlog.

Visitation will be held Saturday Nov. 1, 2025, 2-3 PM at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN 47390. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 PM with John Smith officiating. Burial will be held later at the convenience of the family.
