Christopher Carpenter

Christopher Carpenter 65 of Union City, IN passed away on June 4, 2025, at Reid Hospital in Richmond. He was born on August 23, 1959, to the late David and Lois (Ferguson) Carpenter.

Christopher was a United States Marine and a member of the American Legion post #158. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, cooking out barbecue, and racing. His family also operated the Carpenter Cider Mill in Union City for many years.

Survivors include his son Hayden Carpenter of Union City, brother Wayne Carpenter of Union City, grandchildren; Xavier Carpenter, Brinleigh Noggle, Macenna Young, and Shaylee Rines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Hallie Rines, brothers Rick Carpenter, Scott Carpenter, 1 grandson, and 1grand daughter.

A memorial gathering for Christopher will take place on Wednesday June 11, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390.

Burial will take place later at the convenience of the family.
