Billy Hankins

Formerly of UNION CITY, OH - Billy Hankins, 80, passed away Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio. He was born October 2, 1937 in Winfield, Alabama to the late Carman & Wyonia (Shimp) Hankins. Billy was a barber for 48 yrs. and worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Greenville, Ohio for 7 yrs, was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ, loved fishing, gardening, and most of all socializing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 yrs, Caroline Mikesell Hankins; children, Billy Ray (Kim) Hankins of U.C., IN, Wanda S. (Barry) Henninger of Arcanum, OH, Sandra (Adam Mendez) Hankins of U.C., IN; grandchildren, Kyla Hankins, Jarred Hankins, Colton Henninger, Chloe Henninger, Brance Henninger, Chad Henninger, Robbie Henninger, Sheena Mader, Isaiah Mendez; 3 great grandchildren, Violet Howard, Molly Kinney, Taylor Henninger.
Visitation is 12:00 Noon-2:00 P.M. Friday June 8, 2018 at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, IN. Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday also at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Morman officiating. Burial will follow in the Snell Cemetery.
