UNION CITY – Bill T. Davis, 84, passed away Friday Aug. 12, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born May 1, 1932 in Hawkins County, TN, son of the late George W. and Mary Margaret (Walker) Davis. Bill worked at Sheller Globe Hardy’s Division for 40 years retiring in 1991, enjoyed gardening, and especially enjoyed visiting family in Tennessee.
Survivors include siblings, Kenneth (Barbara) Davis of White Pine, TN, Byrle Marshall also of White Pine, Don (Ethel) Davis of Morristown, TN; several nieces and nephews; good friend and neighbor, Richard Cox.
Bill was preceded by his parents; wife, Pauline (Taylor) Davis; siblings, Kathleen Alexander, Robert L. Davis, James L. Davis, Nina Sparry and George W. Davis.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 12 noon-2p.m. at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Donald Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Snell Cemetery.
