Barbara D. Hole

GREENVILLE – Barbara D. Hole, 81, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Friday February 17, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 27, 1941, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Byron “Barney” and Martha Olwine Davenport.

 Barb was a beautician for many years before becoming a stay-at-home Mom. She  was many things; devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed quality time with family and friends, hosting all holiday get togethers, happy hours, and 4^th of July parties. She also enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, knitting, planting flowers, but most of all supporting her grandchildren in everything they did.

 Barb is survived by her husband of 58 years, retired Judge Richard “Dick” Hole II; children Betsy, Amy, Christy, Molly, and Jody (Todd); grandchildren Josh, Justin, Justine, Carson and Lani Shilt, Maxwell Erwin, Cali, Libby, and Ellie Harter:  a sister Sue Carter.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother Richard “Dick” Davenport and a son-in-law Steve Erwin.

 The Hole family would like to thank all the friends for their love and support. We also are forever grateful to Everheart Hospice especially Debbie, Allison, Nicole, and Sarah. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Everheart Hospice with envelopes available at the church.

 A Church Service will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday February 22, 2023 at the Gospel Baptist Church, 115 W. 5^th St, Greenville, OH with calling from Noon until time of services. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. A Celebration of life will follow the graveside service at Romer’s in Greenville, Ohio.
