Anna Marie Hodges

Anna Marie Hodges age 84, of Union City passed away peacefully Saturday, April 23, 2022, at JAG Nursing home in Union City.

Anna was born March 14, 1938, in Piqua to the late Raymond and Marie (Pierron) Didier. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hodges on January 4, 2014, whom she married June 25, 1960, a granddaughter Kimberly, a brother Raymond (Ed) Didier, A sister Dorothy (Didier) Mangen: brother in laws John Mangen; Maurice Brunswick: sister in law Beverly (Varner) Didier.

Anna is survived by her children, Bonnie (David) Weiss; Russell (Laurie) Hodges; Larry (Susan) Hodges; Tim (Tammy) Hodges: siblings Lucille Brunswick; Robert (Shirley) Didier; James (Sheila) Didier; Mary Raffel; Richard Didier; Mark (Deb) Didier: grandchildren Joanna, Kristen, Kelli, Matt, Beth, Matt and Steven; great-grandchildren Duke, Oaklyn, Kyla, Gavin, Liam and Gemma.

Anna worked for Sheller Globe for many years. Anna was a loving mother who enjoyed gardening and word search books. She always had a smile on her face and a friendly wave to greet everyone.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 28th, from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN 47390. A Funeral Service will follow at Reichard’s starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, 8677 St. Route 118 Greenville, Ohio following the service. Following the burial, a lunch will be provided at 136 E. 3rd Street, Greenville, Ohio.
