UNION CITY - Anna M. Adkins, 75, passed away Monday July 4th, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. She was born October 19th, 1940 in Knightstown, Ind. daughter of the late Perry and Mary Russell. Anna worked at numerous local restaurants as a waitress. She enjoyed crafting, garage sales and her family.
Survivors include her children, Penny (Shawn) Larkin of U.C., Ind., Tim Gahret of Glen Carn, OH, Betty Jo (Dennis) Coleman of Amboy, IL, Billy Gahret, Deeanna (Robert) Westfall, Teresa (Carry) Smith all of U.C., OH; 25 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Gaylor of Anderson, Ind., Barbara Young of U.C., OH; brother, Dale (Donna) Russell of Louisville, KY; nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, Jim Adkins “2006,†and 4 sisters.
Visitation is 12 noon – 2 p.m. Friday July 8th, 2016 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, Ind. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawndale Cemetery, Ridgeville, Ind.
