Alice A. Kaufman

Alice A. Kaufman 97 of Union City passed peacefully Thursday December 4, 2025, at Pineknoll in Winchester. She was born on July 27, 1928, to the late Neil and Audry Lorton Gettinger.

After graduating from Jackson Township in 1946 she went to business college in Fort Wayne. Returning home she married Dale Kaufman in April 1949. She worked at Union City Body and finished her working career at Randolph Eastern Schools after 32 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Preservation Society, Union City Depot, and Randolph County YMCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dale L. Kaufman, sisters Janice Fisher and Nancy Ray.

She is survived by daughters Deborah Graves (Larry), Sueanne Stewart (Jerry), grandchildren Krista Brock (Steve), Kurt Denney (Emily), Dale Stewart (Krista), great grandchildren, Gavin Teeter (Brooke), Kaitlyn and Jack Denney, Aiden and Kinley Stewart.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Heritage of Union City, special friends Sherry and Nicole, Pineknoll for taking extra care of our loved one, and special friends Amy, Amber, and Lorri.

There will be a public visitation from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on December 12, 2025, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN followed by a private service for immediate family only.
