We am so very sorry for your loss.  We are truly blessed to have her as a friend in our lives for so many years.  Her sense of humor, laughter, and kind, caring heart touched many lives -- ours included.  She will be missed! We will carry her in our hearts and do our best to show others the genuine kindness and always ready to listen qualities that came so easy to her.

Teresa, you were one in a million.  Thank you for all the great memories of times we shared as guests in your home.  The many cook outs, card games, and happy times will forever remain in our hearts.  We know you are out of pain and in a far better place.  We will go forward and keep James close to us.  I know we will see you again.  Love you Teresa!

I met Teresa in January of 2018 at Jay County Hospital where she worked.  She was soon to become part of the IU Health Jay team and I was very pleased to have her on our team.  I had never seen such a "go getter!"  She had work ethics like none I had ever seen before.  She was never late, she never called in, she took an occasional vacation that she was always excited about and she was very particular about how she did her job. She even made sure that we all had the right "tools" to do our job and had James put our names on our box knives.  Teresa had a poinsettia in our department that she nurtured long after Christmas was over and even had a contest with a fellow team mate to see whose would last the longest.  Teresa won, hands down.  She was very kind and caring and I have missed her the past nine months.  I am so sorry that she will now be missed forever by her family and friends.  She was a most wonderful human being.

Teresa is remembered as the little time who was on her pony as our school passed her house. She was always a ride or driver of ponies and horses.  My Dad and her Dad were friends. I lived a couple miles from where she was raised in Jay County.  Many memories of horse shows, chariot races, and harness races.  Condolences to her husband, Sisters and family.
Always,
Barbara Lake.
