Please accept my sincere condolences to Kathy and family for the loss of Bob. I knew Bob from our college fraternity but had lost touch with him for the last several years. The last time we visited he was devoted to his pastoral work and raising his family. From his obituary it is obvious that he was very successful at both. May you rest in eternal peace my old friend.

We are all so deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was always a light when we saw him and he made sure he acknowledged all of the employees when he stopped in.  I could count on him to take a bag of popcorn every Friday!  When I saw him in public he would remember the last conversations we had and ask questions about my family or even our dog.

Bob was an old friend from our fraternity days and into the 80's and regrettably we lost touch.
Man we had a lot of good times and good laughs but my favorite memory is when Bob called me in the mid 80's because he had heard that I had become a Christian. Wow, what a joyous moment to hear that he was also a brother in Christ!
God bless you old pal and our sincere condolences to you Kathy, the kids and grandchildren on Bob's sudden passing. You're in our prayers and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7
With love, Ed and Cindy

I have always had a special connection to Bob: in the middle of first grade, Bob and I were both promoted to second grade together, and were always the two youngest in our class. We were in many of the same college prep classes together, and played baseball and basketball together; he was a good shot and a pretty good catcher.

We did not stay in contact over the years, but I am very encouraged that he considered his most important work was to preach and teach the word of God, a fellow believer in Jesus! So for me, I can say: Bob, I'll see you later! I'm sure he will be dreadfully missed, and all so suddenly, but oh! what a glorious reunion!

So sorry for your loss! I got to know Bob at Cal Maine Foods! He was really fun to work with! He always was talking about Kathy and the kids! I have your meatloaf recipe Kathy! He taught me so much about being a Christian and to be Christ like.

I’m sorry for the late message. Just learned the news today. Rob and I were classmates and played sports together. (He was better than me....) I have always had nothing but good memories and in reading about his life, he had a full, good journey. I know that he will be sorely missed by his family, but cherish his memory and example.

Well done Rob.

Kathy, so so sorry about Bobs passing.  I do know exactly how you feel.  Lost a husband 12 years ago, it tore my World apart.  God gave me strength to go on.  He will for you.  Bob was a good Christian Man so he is with the Lord. One day you will meet him again.
