I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. One encouraging thought you might find comforting is found at John 5:28, 29. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”  God gives us this beautiful hope that he will soon resurrect our dead loved ones and we can see them again on a paradise earth! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

This isn't the end, it's just the beginning grandma. No more suffering, no more pain. May your spirit live on in all of us and may the memories of you never fade. I love you

"Jean Bannon" was my first babysitter and I loved her. She was probably still a teenager at that time. She also watched me while mom was doing her "he's on a business trip so I'll paint the living room" [or whatever major project she undertook while dad was gone]. Jean and mom were always scheming on getting some project done. I loved to go to Jean's apartment. She had a little blond sister Maxine who was a lot of fun but best of all Jean had another sister who looked just like her! I had never seen twins before. Jean went with us on our get-a-ways to northern Indiana. If we took my elderly grandma and great-aunt too, mom and dad tended to them while Jean and I went to the lake or the playground or playing in the woods. We had so much fun and I just loved Jean! As an adult, whenever we would run into one another, we were always so happy to see each other. May God Bless Jean and all of her family. She was a wonderful and beautiful person.
