My heart hurts for all John's family and friends. We all lost an 'original', 'one of a kind'! I have many memories of John, from Razor, 'Hip Sips', Phi Delts, years as part of the same family, and beyond. John loved music, and music reminds me of people. 'Piano Man' is the song that reminds me of John every time I hear it, because that was the song he was singing at the Phi Delts, when I walked through the door six years ago, this past New Years Eve. He looked at me, gave his smile, I waved...and a forever memory was made. John, I hope you and Roger are ROCKING Heaven.....Fly High and I WILL see you again!! May God hold those he loved close and help in your days to come. God Bless each of you!!

It is with heavy heart that I have continued to think of my friend John Fields since hearing of his passing on Saturday evening. There is so much I could say about this fine man, a friend for sure, a kind and supporting man you bet, a fine musician absolutely, my mentor and teacher of guitar yes. We have lost so much with Johns passing and we can only hope that we honor his memory the way he lived his life. Sarah and family our hearts are with you and we hope that you know all who loved John send their strength to aide you in this difficult time. To my Brother I will miss the time I was blessed to sit across from you each Tuesday in my man cave as you led me down this path I'm on to learn how to play a guitar, but most of all I will miss this wonderful friend.
