Al A. Albertson 71, of Portland, Indiana passed away Monday October 22, 2018 at his residence. Al was born August 4, 1947 in Albany, New York to the late Earnest & Kimbell Riddle Albertson. Al worked at Union City Body Company for 40 Yrs., loved fishing and was an avid hunter. He served in the U.S. Army and was a UAW Local # 494 member.
He is survived by a son, Al E. (Kathy) Albertson-Kent Store, VA; daughter, Jessica Mullens-U.C., IN; grandchildren, Lisa Marie Johnson, Aaron Albertson, Hunter Albertson, Justyce Mullens, Storm Mullens, Faith Albertson; great grandchildren, Karley & Darci Johnson, Jeremiah Albertson-Mullens, Jaylin Miller; siblings, Julie Waid-Albany, KY., James Earl Albertson-Stendal, IN, Horace (Pat)  Albertson -Stendal, IN, Irene (Bud) Brown-Albany, KY, Joyce (Danny) Abston-Albany, KY, Christine Fuller-Jasper, IN, Earstine (Tommy) Smith-Lamar, IN, Ronald G. (Deidra) Albertson-Albany, KY; former wife, Shirley Albertson-U.C., IN; nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded by parents; sister, Nellie Brown; brother, Jimmy Albertson.
Services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, Indiana with calling from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery with the Rev. George Hughes officiating. Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Al's family, So very sorry to hear about Al. Worked with him at UCBC. Always had some stories to tell between Delphus and him. Always nice and respectable to the ladies. God Bless your family at this difficult time in your lives. RIP my friend.
