I did not know that Vicky was sick and was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. We were friends in high school but didn't see each other much after that unless we ran into each other in our little town. Please know that our prayers go up for you and your family, not only today but in the days ahead.

I am saddened to hear about the loss of Vicky and extend my condolences to the family. It's hard to lose the ones we love. The Bible refers to death as an enemy and it certainly proved to be that. It rushes into our lives and robs us of those we hold dear. But soon God promises that this enemy will be "brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26) No enemy is too daunting for God. Hearts will be healed when our precious loved ones are restored to life again.(John 5:28,29) May you draw encouragement and strength from God's word.
