Tommy Joe Kaugher, 73, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Monday January 14, at the V.A. Hospice of Dayton, Ohio. He was born November 4, 1945 in Randolph County son of the late Walter & Margaret Welch Kaugher. He was a Corporal with the Darke County Sheriff's office as a Corrections Officer, worked at the Greenville Police Dept. and was a supervisor at Westinghouse in Union City, Indiana. Tommy was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, loved motorcycling, the casino, and was a 1963 graduate of Union City Wayne High School, and was a member of American Legion #158 of Union City, the Greenville Elks Club, and the Greenville Moose Lodge.
He is survived by Siblings: Sandra King-U.C., Indiana, Carol Class-Greenville, Ohio, Ronnie (Sharon) Kaugher-U.C., Ohio. several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded by: Parents, 2 Brothers: Walter E. & Jack Lee Kaugher, Sister-in-law: Roberta Kaugher, Brother-in-law: Bernard Class.
Services will be held Monday January 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, Indiana with calling Sunday January 20, 2019 from 3:00 -  6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, Indiana. Memorials may be made to: V.A. Hospice Fund V.A. Medical Center 4100 W. third street Dayton, Ohio 45428 with envelopes at the funeral home.

RIP, my friend. As long as I had been gone from UC, you were still a friend I looked forward to seeing on my return visits. You were just fun to ride motorcycles with, eat maid-rites with, and just plain fun to be around. You will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to Tom’s family. Tom was one of my first boyfriends as
a teenager. Loved his wonderful smile, cute dimples and most of all the perfect
gentleman he always was to me. He was a sweet person with a kind heart. I
will remember him fondly.
